> Do you keep any logs IP Addresses, Timestamp, Bandwidth cap, traffic or other data?
We don’t keep any user activity logs. Read here for what information we collect.
“their site says they do log ip addresses”
> What type of encryption do you use?
We use 128bit SSL blowfish with 1024bit encrypted keys.
> and where are your servers located and what jurisdiction do you operate under?
Is Astrill VPN trustworthy? Can you interview them?
well they say they only use 128 bit encryption which is the lower standard, and they do support bittorent and p2p.
however i don’t see anything on what they collect or not collect on their vpn servers.
There a pretty big provider so hopefully theyll be willing to do a small interview with us. if they respond we will post the results.
but for now i only recommend the paid vpns on our VPN page

Nightweb connects your Android device to an anonymous, peer-to-peer social network. You can write posts and share photos, and your followers will retrieve them using BitTorrent running over the I2P anonymous network. It is still experimental and not well-tested, but the goal is to have uncensorable, untraceable communication and file-sharing on mobile devices.

PeerBlock is used by a lot of users of P2P networks and BitTorrent and similar software to guard against snooping by parties looking for illegal file sharing activity. It has, however, the power to more or less block out anyone or anything on the Internet as long as you can identify the IP ranges associated with it. It blocks everything from anti-piracy organizations, to law enforcement and to spyware peddlers using long lists compiled by users. Some believe it can protect even against getting legal hassles over file sharing activity, but it is certainly not guaranteed to do so.

Osiris is a free portal creation software. The portals created with osiris don’t need a central server, they are safe, indestructible and anonymous. In those portals, all users have the same rights, so the standard hierarchys (administrators, moderators, members) of regular forums are not present, even if they are supported. Features Indestructible The data of the portals are not saved on a single computer, each member of the portal has a copy of them on his hard disk.
One of the big draws of BitTorrent is that there are few barriers to entry, not least because it’s free to use. There are other downloading options of course, Usenet being one, but it can be a complex and relatively expensive option. However, thanks to a new service, anyone can enjoy simplified newsgroup downloading using just a web browser. Best of all, it’s completely free of charge.
