Hey, just wanted to say thanks for everything you guys are doing. I have been visiting your site for a few months now and can say I have learned quite a bit. You guys not only take the time to research topics but also write out, in depth and very informative tutorials. I know even just a little show of appreciation can go a long way, and would like for your whole team (past and present) to know how much they have helped others. A very big THANK YOU! to all - Z
Thank you very much for the appreciation. It does help every time some one says thank you because we know we should keep going. We started this site to help people and even if we just help one person we are happy. Appreciate your feedback we hope to continue helping. <3
hey, i love and appreciate all that your team does. i was just wondering if you know if "The Ultimate Guide for Anonymous and Secure Internet Usage v1.0.1" is still up to date? it relies heavily on truecrypt, and i've heard that can be broken? what do you think?
well there is a second version of the book its a work in progress and far from complete, but as far as truecrypt goes im yet to see anything where someone actually cracked it. I still think its a great tool for full disk encryption.
I know Siri on the iPhone holds all voice queries for up to 2 years. So it can just as well key log too. And what way to make Siri better than by surveying your consumers.
i wasn’t aware of that but thanks for sharing it!
yea apple has a bad track record for respecting peoples rights..
“vpnautoconnect is a daemon that allow you to reconnect automatically (at startup too) a vpn create with network manager. It can reconnect very quickly and monitor the bandwith, It works with pptp and openvpn connection.”
Don’t you hate when your VPN connection drops? do you worry about your privacy being leaked when your downloading a torrent?
This is a really great tool to help with that problem for linux users.
and it has a nice GUI and daemon to manage it which is perfect for new linux users trying to secure themselves online.
